Mava Chair is inspired by the image of wooden clothes-pegs from the beginning of the 20th century. These archetypal pegs were slotted in the middle to hold clothes and washing-line together. In a similar way the legs of Mava Chair are slotted to hold the backrest firmly from both sides. The backrest with its wide, open form seems fly in the wind like a piece of cloth, but firmly attached with the legs.
