CORDULA LAMP

The design of this portable floor lamp is inspired by objects used on construction sites. CORDULA combines the characteristic qualities of a cable drum and a spotlight. Seven meters of cable allow distant positioning from the power source. With its additional pivot-joint it can be rotated by 90 degrees and together with a energy-saving fluorescent tube it creates flexible illumination.
CORDULA is part of my graduation project and has been shown at d3 design talents during Imm Cologne 2009 for the first time. There it has been selected by ligne roset for the 2010 collection. Since 2011, CORDULA is part of Die Neue Sammlung / International Design Museum Munich.
